Later this month I will be attending Britmums Live for the second time!
It's been a bit of a crazy year for me so far blog wise. Suffering with anxiety and depression earlier this year had me on the verge of giving up and deleting My Mummy's Pennies from it's little corner of the internet, but thanks to the support and encouragement of some amazing friends I came through the other side and over the last few months some things have happened that I wouldn't have dared to dream of a few years ago!
In March My Mummy's Pennies was announced as a MAD Blog Award Finalist for Best Thrifty Blog and in May I attended my first blogging conference as a speaker!
So I'm being brave and heading to London later this month to attend the UK’s biggest, two-day social media conference and blogger event, where lifestyle bloggers and social influencers gather to meet and socialise, network with brands, improve their skills, and fire their creativity! I'm still a little anxious when in large groups and i'm useless with matching names to faces so if you spot me please do come and say hi!
This is me with a drink in hand! Cheers! |
I can't wait to meet up with friends, old and new and learn some great tips. This year I will be focusing on the photography and food sessions as they are areas that I really want to develop my skills in. I've been browsing the agenda and am still deciding which session to go for but I'm really looking forward to watching two lovely local ladies, Laura and Kerrie read for the bloggers Keynote on Saturday!
This is a great opportunity to develop my writing skills, network and of course socialise with my fellow bloggers and I am incredibly grateful to the brand who is sponsoring me to attend.
It's a local brand that I discovered at the Northern Blogging Conference, Blog On earlier this year.
The Brand was developed by two busy mums, Deborah & Jenny who are all too familiar with the challenge of juggling a busy family life with being healthy. Crushed UK bring a new meaning to fast food on the go! Their 100% fruit pouches are low in fat, suitable for vegetarians and provide 1 of your child's recommended 7-a-day fruit and veg!
With no mess, no need for a spoon and a long shelf life, they are ideal for lunch boxes, picnics, days out, camping and much more!
The bright packaging and easy to eat format appeal to children of all ages and are available in two flavours; Apple and Strawberry or Apple and Banana. Both varieties are low in fat, dairy free, nut free and suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. Currently available in the snack aisle at Waitrose and coming to your local WH Smith travel store in the next few weeks and OCADO at the end of July!
I'm really pleased to be working with Crushed and will be sharing our thoughts on the pouches after our tip to Bluestone next week, in the mean time why not pop over to see what The Brick Castle thought when they tried them out?
Pop over and say Hi to the lovely ladies on Facebook and twitter too!
