LEGO® Ninjago - Masters of Spinjitzu Premiere at LDC

Much to the delight of our whole family, I was recently asked to become a blogger Ambassador for LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Manchester. It is one of our favourite local attractions and we have enjoyed lots of family time exploring all it has to offer since it opened in 2010. Today we made our first visit as ambassadors

This weekend NINJAS have taken over LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Manchester, for two days of Ninjago fun to celebrate the North-West Premiere of the eagerly anticipated Series five of  ‘LEGO® Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu’. Lucky Ninjago fans get the chance to see the first three episodes of the new series before they are shown on Cartoon Network later this month.

We were invited to attend the very first showing at the LEGO studios cinema this morning and my 7 year old was thrilled, he has been a huge fan of LEGO since he was tiny but has been getting very into Ninjago since he received the Garmatron Playset for his last birthday.

Both children really enjoyed gobbling up popcorn while they watched the adventures of Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane and Lloyd. Ben has already been asking when he can watch the next episode!

The event was not just about the episodes themselves though, in true LDC style, they had gone all out with range of activities. Including a local youth group showcasing their martial arts talents throughout the day, staff dressed up as Ninjas and a special focus on the Ninjago Lasar Traning Camp where children of all ages can put their speed and agility to the test to win special certificates and prizes.

All this is along side the regular attractions that the centre has to offer including the Fire Academy Soft Play Area, Forest Pursuit, Kindom Quest, Model builders and many more!

The event continues tomorrow (8th Feb) so if you are looking for a fun way of entertaining your little ninjas why not take a trip to LDC at the Trafford Centre? Remember Ninjago fans and ninja’s-in-the-making that attend in their own Ninja costume will receive FREE entry to the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre when accompanied by a paying adult.
